Monkey Joe’s Party

Mallory’s softball team (sponsored by Monkey Joe's) had their end of season party at Monkey Joe’s. It’s a new indoor play place in town. It’s full of inflatable slides and ‘moonwalks.’ So much fun! The kids had a total blast. Here are a few pictures to enjoy!

No winners, No losers, ALL Girls!

Tonight we enjoyed Mallory's first softball game. I was half right about the team colors - the shirts are purple. The game was true entertainment. Our girls aren't too bad! About half of them can hit a moving ball most of the time (rather than having to use the tee). The fielding is quite amusing, though. Whenever the ball is hit, all the girls go running for it, and then there's nobody to throw it to! Of course, Mallory had a good time tonight. I think we have a future politician in the making - she loves to talk and have her picture taken . . .

Here she is before the game, talking . . .
And here she is on 1st base, talking . . .
And on 2nd base, talking . . .
I think I see a pattern!
Here are the rest of the pictures in a slideshow.

Team Colors? Pink and Purple!!!

Mallory's first Tee Ball practice was Friday night.  I sure hope the team colors are pink and purple!  I think almost every girl out there had a pink bat, a pink and purple mitt, a pink bag, and some even had pink on their cleats!  I definitely need to get the Sharpie out and put her name on her things.

Of course, it's going to be fun watching them play . . . it will be comic relief for sure.  I couldn't tell if Mallory was having more fun playing catch or doing dance twirls and ballerina leaps!  It was pretty cute.  You can tell that she'd been watching her big brother for a few years, though.  She had pretty good form when throwing and catching and the coach even complimented her a few times.

Here are a few more photos to enjoy . . .
